Gina Greco-Tartaglia, MD, FAAFP
Dr. Gina Greco-Tartaglia, or “Dr. T” as many of her patients call her, graduated from New York Medical College in 1991.
She then proceeded to complete her internship and residency in Family Medicine, while on Active Duty in the U.S. Army, at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Dr. T then moved on to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, where she served active duty soldiers, their families and retirees from 1994-1998. Upon honorable discharge from the Army in 1998, she and her family moved to Mohegan Lake, where she worked in a small Family Practice office in Peekskill, through 2009. In 2009, Dr. T decided that because her current employer was joining a big medical group, it was time for her to open her own solo Family Practice office in Yorktown Heights.
Since 2009, her practice has been growing and she maintains the “small town doctor” approach. She has always prided herself on treating all of her patients like they were family. She is on call for all of her patients 24/7. She loves what she does and encourages her patients to spread the word about the benefits of having a family doctor. Many of her patients call the services that she and her staff provide, “one-stop-shopping.”
Dr. T can manage your child’s strep throat, your blood pressure and discuss your parents’ diagnosis of dementia and how to manage it, all at one visit!
Dr. T is a Board Certified Family Physician. She holds an array of positions in the community and beyond, including: Deputy Surgeon of the Lake Mohegan Fire District; Clinical Assistant Professor of New York Medical College; Department of Transportation, Nationally Registered Medical Examiner and Medical Director of FieldHome. She is affiliated with both local and New York City Hospitals including: Hudson Valley Hospital Center, Northern Westchester Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital. These tertiary care affiliations facilitate her ability to insure her patients with complicated illnesses receive the best care available.
